The After School Club has been established at Courthouse School from September 2010 and accepts children aged 3 - 14. We have use of theclassrooms, halls and playgrounds. We provide help with homework, a variety of play, craft and sport activities and a hot cooked evening meal.

For Courthouse, we collect children from Furze Platt Junior and Infant, Alwyn. We anticipate collection from other schools in the area too. Some children join us from other schools but organise their own transport to the club.

Parents can also provide their own transport

Our staff are very experienced in childcare. They are qualified, CRB checked and have first aid training. Our staff are all interviewed, references checked and we comply with all OFSTED rulings. Tanya Galitzine-Scott, the founder, has an NNEB certificate, a Norland College Diploma, Childminders Certificate, a first aid qualification and has many years of childcare experience.

ABOUT WISE OWLS

Wise Owls After School Clubs aim to make the life of working parents less stressful so that the time spent at home with their children is both peaceful and enjoyable. Parents appreciate our flexibility and value the service that we supply.
We have a time planning routine for the children, which is evaluated to assess the sessions. We have a theme each week and the children can relax and enjoy themselves with us. We offer sport and craft activities and provide homework sessions and an evening meal.
Each child’s requirements and abilities are valued. We intend our clubs to be a fun and stimulating time for the children, not just somewhere to go
